Both are very simple designs colured with my Copic Markers.
Papers from Prima Marketing and both pieces are from the Time Traveller's Memories Range.

Beautiful Edgy Princess

Coloured up another of Krista Leigh Smith's images, this one called Edgy Princess from February's Subscription.

I added her to the opposite page in my Art Journal to the one she .
drew of Laura which I posted on Monday.

The journal page is a few different brands of paint that I used on my Geli palte and
brayered off excess onto page first and then prints from Geli plate as well.
Use Memento Jet Black ink to stamp on some stamps and sentiments.

Again, happy and love how it came out.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog.

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Elf going Surfin'

You are going to love this next Elf just released in the series from Ericraft Stamps.

He is called Elf going Surfin' and for a limited time you can get him for only $1.50.

LOL, how cool is he!!!!!
So very Aussie Aussie Aussie!
Think Lara Bingle ad from a few years back - hmmmmm yep, Santa, Where the Bloody Hell are ya!

The stamp set this sentiment is from I got about 4 years ago and have never used it, until now!
Now the plastic sheet on top of it say "Where the heck are ya!", so imagine my groan when I saw Where the bloody hell are ya! when I stamped it.
Bahahaha which then led to laughter and should I or shouldn't I cover it up with something else?
Well I did ask Erica if she wanted me to cover it up but she's ok with it......LOL, it's an Aussie thing right! and you don't actually get it with your image (shame about that!).

I'd so love to see what creative sentiment you can come up with for this one......

Thanks so much for visiting my blog.

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Pretty and Rare ...

Oh I just got myself a 8"x10" Gel Press Plate and had me some fun!!!!

Ripped pages out of an old novel, got out the paints and stencils!
Popped on my apron......LOL, I opened a jar of lovely lilac paint and pop! straight on the apron....OMG, so glad I decided to put an apron on!

Anyways, I just had to use two of the pages I made......oh yeah, I made about 15 while I was going along! Interrupted by daughter phoning for a lift home! Geeesh!

Hubby can't see what all the fuss is about! but as he said, as long as you are happy and like it, then that's all that matters! LOL, I told him that I guess he wouldn't understand about the Set of Distress Oxide Inks I just got today then!

I coloured up Saturated Canary's Unicorn Fairy (One of this month's Subscription) with my Copic Markers, and cut so just her upper body in image.
Wine Tag Die from Jaded Blossom and sentiment also.

Gosh, I must say I do love it - I know it's just a start but I'm pretty excited with it!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog.

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Stud Santa!

Getting ready for Christmas in July!!!!
You can never have enough Christmas cards! you know I'm right!
There is always that mad rush when you get  the unexpected one and bugger me, no more left!

So this month I decided to colour up Kenny K's Stud Santa.

So sad to read they are closing their store.
You have until the end of this month (30th June) to grab any images you like - and each image is only $1.00 now.

I dabbed the distressed sides with Barn Door Tim Holtz Distress Ink.
Image printed on X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copic Markers, hard to tell but I used clear Wink of Stella over the white parts to give him some glitter!
All retired Stampin up - patterned paper, Raspberry Ripple card stock and sentiment from Get Your Santa On stamp set.

Kenny K has some great Christmas stamps, so go shopping now before they are gone forever and you can only admire from afar.

Fairy Dust and Happy thoughts!

Time for another Progressive Challenge.

Here's the one for this month over at Simply B Stamps - June Fairy.
If you have seen my other SBS postings for Progressive Challenges, you will know we have to follow a few rules to enter.
So this month we had  to use both the image and the sentiment, use at least one pattered paper, glitter, and use the colours Red, Black, Yellow and Creme.

Coloured with Copic Markers and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen.
I know it's hard to see, but the wings have the Stella pen on them giving them a sparkle - I love the Wink of Stella pens as I don't like playing with glitter and can get the effect easily with them! They have become a favourite of mine, after my Copic markers of course!
Dies used are both from Spellbinders..
Enamel Dots from my stash.
I distressed the edges of the patterned paper and the matting cardstock for something different!

I am entering her in the following Challenges:
  1. Creative Inspirations # 276
  2. The Paper Shelter # 297
  3. Love to Craft # 11
