Secret Santa Stocking Swap

Oh swap time again - Simply B Stamps organised a Stocking (Sock) Swap this year.!!!

Don't you just love a swap where you have no idea who is sending you a gift?  what will they make? Ohhhh will my swapper like what I made?

So first I thought I'd share with you what I sent to my swapper......we don't receive from them, they send to someone else so that makes it more interesting!

We had to create a card using Betty's image called Stocking Elf .... so her is my card I made for Kate.

Here is my gift - I couldn't find any half decent Christmas Socks but I did find some festive Thongs.....so Aussie! Kate had asked for crafting supplies as she can't have candy (chocolates, lollies, etc).

I wrapped them up into individual pressies and popped in the stocking - love that stocking - LOL, I bought myself one too!

Now for the real exciting part - here's what I received from Lea Wilkin......

Wowsers, how is that for an amazing Shaker card!

And my gifts - so spoilt!

I love everything and I hope Kate loved hers too!

Want to see what everyone else created and swapped?
Just work your way through the list and enjoy.

Starts at the SBS blog:  Betty & Rio

These ladies are sharing on the SBS Facebook Page:
Janell D'Amato Rice

Evie Winter Hat

Here I am with my first Inspiration Post for Mari Ko Creations New Releases.

I am using the New Release Evie Winter Hat.

Isn't she just so sweet in her Winter Hat!

With so much Christmas projects about (mine too!) I decided to make a Shaker Card with more of a Winter feel to it.
Now we all know how cold and miserable some Winter days can be, so it's nice to have a lovely smile to brighten it up and be our Rainbow!

Coloured with copic markers and I know you can't see it, but I do have Clear Wink of Stella Brush on the pom poms.
I actually even got one of my embossing folders out - LOL, it's been a while, which saw me emboss the wrong side!!!!! but I popped it through again and you can't notice, it just looks like she's in a blizzard rather than a storm - where's my Rainbow!!

I do hope you like her and I look forward to sharing my next project in a couple of weeks.

Jenny Has the Cure

Here I am with another Inspiration Post for Oddball Art Co's New Releases.

I am using IMG412 Jenny Has the Cure.

Oh Hello! Isn't she just so sweet!

Coloured with copic markers.
I have used safety pin washi tape to create a top and bottom border instead of using a second card mat of patterned paper. Washi tape is very versatile and you don't need much on your projects.

I printed this image off with others needing to be coloured and to be honest, just kept shuffling her to the bottom! Not because I don't like her - I love her!
I just couldn't decide how I was going to colour her and then what I would do with her....LOL, so I decided to put her on the top and just do her!
I have to tell you that doing long hair and stacked hair like hers sort of scares me...Love how she turned out. Sometimes all it takes is to start to have the mojo flow.

Don't forget to use My Discount Code in the store!

Here's a coupon code to save 10% OFF the entire Oddball Art Etsy Shop

I am using the Newly Released Holiday Petals Unicorn.

The theme this fortnight is Holly Jolly!

What better way then to make some Shaker Ornaments!
Coloured with copic markers.
I made two, one for a boy and one for a girl.
Aren't they just fun! I can picture a coupe of toddlers shaking these!

 Ends:   Friday, Dec 8th 6:00PM

This week's Sponsor is Digistamps 4 Joy.

I got the chance to use Bow River.

Ok, this was a challenging image to use for sure!
I decided to colour it with my water based ink pads and aqua brush.
The backing of the card base I have used 2 matching Washi Tapes to create a matt.
I am very happy with the overall look of the card.
Not sure of a sentiment yet and will probably add it when I use it.
I am thinking it would be a great retirement card though.
